Welcome to the new Mazda 3 section of the Racing Beat website. After taking possession of a Mazda 3 Sedan in early 2005, we spent the next few months evaluating the performance on this application for areas of potential improvement. As with any new Mazda model, we spent time evaluating this new application in order to determine the areas that we could offer performance improvements.

As with many of the newer cars that Mazda is now offering, we have found that offering bolt-on parts that prove significant horsepower is becoming increasingly difficult! It appears that Mazda's engineering team is doing a very good job with the design of many of the stock components.

We have confined our initial parts offering to the parts that we can most readily address, exhaust and suspension components. We will expand the parts offering over time. Give us your feedback and let us know what specific parts you are interested in.

This section of the website will be expanded in the coming weeks and months to include new products for the Mazda 3 application. Although many people may want performance products such as headers, turbo kits, ECU upgrades, etc., we will focus our initial attention on more traditional bolt-on parts while we determine if significant demand for more complex parts exists.

Mazda has further added some complication to the Mazda 3 lineup with the introduction of both a 2.0 liter and 2.3 liter engine, and two different chassis configurations. Since we have a 2.3 liter 5-Door model, we can use this as a starting point for many of the products that we are considering.

Mazda 3 Exhaust System
Racing Beat now offers a cat-back exhaust system for the Mazda 3s 5-Door & Sedan (2.3L) application. These complete 304 stainless steel systems were engineered, designed, and hand-crafted in our Anaheim, CA production facility.

2007-09 Models - Mazda has made signficant changes to the chassis starting with the 2007 non-turbo models. These changes prevent the correct fitment of our our current exhaust systems. We are working on an updated system for these newer applications, check back for updates.
