The Racing Beat Power Pulse Mazda 6 Exhaust System for the 2003-2008 Mazda 6 (except Mazdaspeed & Wagon models) features a pair of 100% stainless steel axle-back mufflers. Exhaust gas is routed through each Mazda 6 muffler through 1.6mm heavy-wall 2" OD tubing to provide superior exhaust flow. Each muffler features Racing Beat's exclusive cast-stainless steel flange that ensures positive exhaust gas sealing between the muffler and stock connecting pipe. The finishing touch is added with our distinctive twin-walled oval outlet tip (3.5" W x 3.25" H). Each tip is produced entirely from stainless steel, features an etched Racing Beat logo and is highly polished to a mirror-like shine!

Unlike many aftermarket systems that utilize a universal muffler, the Racing Beat Mazda 6 system features a canister designed specifically for the Mazda 6. On our system the inlet and outlet tubing positions have been placed lower on the muffler canister to allow the muffler canister to be positioned higher under the rear bumper - offering a more modest look and minimizes the risk of damage to the muffler that can occur navigating driveways, speed bumps, etc..

Like all Racing Beat exhaust systems, this Mazda 6 exhuast system is designed to offer a moderate sound increase over the stock system. This system will not produce any harsh, buzzy, "tinny", or droning tones either during hard acceleration or extended highway driving. This Mazda 6 exhaust system is emissions legal.

The weekend mechanic using only basic hand-tools can install this system in your garage or workshop. If you can operate an end-wrench, then you can install this system! Comes complete with replacement gaskets.

Note: If your car is equipped with the optional Mazda Rear Bumper Skirt and Exhaust Tips (see photo link), these Racing Beat mufflers are NOT compatible. This rear skirt is an aftermarket component that was added by the dealer, or was available as accessory "add-on". This kit included two "slip-on" muffler tips that correctly positioned the tips in the bumper kit openings. The tip openings on this skirt are in a lower position than the stock bumper tip openings and the tips on the Racing Beat (or any other aftermarket exhaust system) cannot be correctly positioned in these openings.
