Braided Stainless Steel Brake Line Set - 1981-1983 RX-7 (w/rear drums) - This Racing Beat Brake Line Set is intended for applications where brake performance is critical. The primary benefit from this brake line set is a reduction in brake pedal travel and improved brake feel. The lines are constructed especially for Racing Beat using our own special strut tube attach fitting, where required, to provide a factory fit. The brake line set is constructed of -3AN stainless steel braid covered Teflon hose with the end fittings swaged on. After assembly, each line is pressure tested to 2000 psi for quality assurance.

Note: These braided stainless steel hose sets do not have the DOT label required by the Department of Transportation on all brake lines sold for highway use. We therefore do not intend them for highway use.

Warning: Because of the critical nature of brakes, a brake line change and subsequent brake bleeding must be done only by a highly competent mechanic. After installing the brake line set, extreme care must be taken to ensure that the lines do not contact the wheels or tires under any combination of steering and wheel travel, and that the lines cannot be crimped.
