1981-85 RX-7 Front KONI Strut Cartridge - KONI has a long-standing reputation in racing circles as a manufacturer of high performance, top quality shocks and struts. KONI uses superior materials in the manufacture of their components to ensure significantly improved handling and excellent durability. Koni has changed the adjustment design of these shocks. In order to adjust these shocks, they must be removed from the car.
Although Koni has since discontinued production of sport shocks for much of the early RX-7 applications we've been able to locate these Koni replacements for the 81-85 RX-7. As listed by Koni, the 86R-2345 part number listing we offer is for "RX-7 OE Only" applications. Measuring approximately 14" L X 1.5" OD, these shocks feature a base stud that can be cut to further reduce the overall length 4 to 8mm if required.

As delivered, these Strut Cartridges are considered to be "NOS": New Old Stock. The KONI Factory packaging containing these strut cartridges is "shop-worn" after many, many years of warehouse storage. The painted surfaces on these Strut Cartridges displays some chipping and scratching.
