1981-85 RX-7 Front - Tokico Standard (HP) Strut Cartridge (HZ1069) - Tokico is one of the world's largest manufacturers of shock absorbers for both original equipment and high performance applications. As demand for strut cartridges for the 1979-85 vintage RX-7 decreases each year, we've noticed that other performance aftermarket shock manufacturers are dropping these older applications from their product lines. Thankfully Tokico still offers Strut Cartridges for these earlier cars.  Don't wait until its too late.  If you need Strut  Cartridges for your RX-7, order a pair while you still have the chance!

Tokico currently offers the 1981-85 RX-7 owner the option of either the ILLUMINA series externally adjustable Strut Cartridge, or the STANDARD (HP) non-adjustable Strut Cartridge. Both series utilize Tokico's Twin Tube low pressure gas design to enhance the performance potential of your RX-7, without significantly sacrificing ride quality. The HP Strut Cartridge offers a noticeable improvement in ride quality and handling and will be an appreciated improvement on your RX-7. Modestly priced for a performance Strut Cartridge, these are well-suited for daily driving and are an excellent replacement Strut Cartridge suitable for daily driving and performance use.

Note: Tokico/Koni Strut Cartridges for the 1979-80 RX-7 are no longer available from these manufacturers. The 79-80 Strut Cartridge featured a slightly longer body as compared to the later 1981-85 RX-7 front Strut Cartridge.
