1979-85 RX-7 Rear - Tokico IILLUMINA Strut Cartridge (BE-2317) - Tokico is one of the world's largest manufacturers of shock absorbers for both original equipment and high performance applications. As demand for shocks for the early 1979-85 RX-7 lessens, we've noticed that other performance aftermarket shock manufacturers are slowly dropping these older applications from their product lines. Thankfully Tokico still offers shocks for these earlier cars, don't wait until its too late, order a pair while you still have the chance!

Tokico's Illumina is a 5-position externally adjustable strut. The easy adjustment changes both rebound and compression damping simultaneously. It allows drivers to change balance, overall handling, or ride characteristics with a turn of a screwdriver. To fine tune your car's handling, the positioning mark on each shock indicates the selected position..

Note: Tokico/Koni front shocks for the 1979-80 RX-7 are no longer available from these manufacturers. The 79-80 shocks featured a slightly longer shock body as compared to the later 1981-83 RX-7 front shocks.
