Thin Wall Spark Plug Socket Tool

The Racing Beat-manufactured Thin Wall Spark Plug Socket is designed to allow the installation and removal of spark plugs other than the factory recommended plugs in all 1981 and later engines. Racing spark plugs NGK R6725-11.5 and NGK R6725-10.5 do not require the use of this socket.

The ultra high-precision EDM (electric machine discharge) process transforms a genuine Snap-On brand socket into a "thin wall" version that slips inside the raised boss casting found on the 1981 and later rotor housings to drive the spark plug hex. The tight manufacturing tolerances of the Snap-On socket make this an excellent choice for use in this application. However, since the socket walls have been thinned, care must be taken not to over-torque the spark plug or risk damage to this precision socket. (Sorry, once we machine the socket the Snap-On warranty is no longer in effect.) We've sold 1000's of these over the years.. just be careful and you shouldn't experience any problems.
