Racing Beat 1986-92 RX-7 Road Race "Dual" Exhaust System

Racing Beat offers a true dual exhaust for all models of 1986-92 non-turbo RX-7s. This complete bolt-on system utilizes all of the stock hangers and hanger positions. Although this system can be used on "street" applications, maximum performance benefits will be realized from cars with intake, ECU or porting upgrades.

System Components

Due to the various engine configurations of the RX-7, offering a packaged "kit" is not feasible. We have designed these components to allow flexibility in the design of your exhaust system. Select the components from the following items that are required to complete your Road Race Exhaust System.

The Racing Beat Road Race Header is the starting point for a true dual primary exhaust system. Select the correct header for your model year and chassis:

This dual pipe Presilencer unit bolts up to the outlet of the Road Race "Streetable*" Header section. This presilencer is NOT compatible with the Race Headers (PN 16127 & 16132) listed above.

The Y-Pipe section connects to the outlet of the Road Race Presilencer unit.

Road Race Extension Tubes
(OPTIONAL - Shown in the Option 1 system above.)

The Extension Tubes are only required if the stock mufflers or Racing Beat Power Pulse Mufflers are to be retained on the car.

Road Race Muffler - Right
(OPTIONAL - Shown in Option 2 System Above) Left muffler shown

The optional Road Race Mufflers can be used as a replacement for a failing stock or aftermarket unit. The "long" inlet tube on these mufflers connects directly to the outlet of the Road Race Y-Pipe section. (An extension tube is not required with this muffler.)
