Racing Beat Power Pulse Intake (Note: This item has been discontinued Click Here for the Power Pulse Intake Dyno Results With only 20 or 30 minutes required to install Racing Beat's Cold Air intake, it's a fairly straightforward operation. Because the Racing Beat intake uses the bottom half of the stock airbox, its rather long neck stretches up over the top of the radiator and gulps cooler air from the nose of the car. Like the Jackson Racing Cold Air intake, the Racing Beat CAI requires the removal of the small plastic shield between the top of the radiator and the bumper. By retaining part of the stock airbox, Racing Beat uses the factory location for mounting the airflow meter but reroutes intake air in front of the engine using its own series of hoses and tubing---elaborate but effective in getting cooler air to the engine. |
