The Stage I Front Suspension Adapter Kit significantly reduces several of the characteristic bad habits of the Mazda RX-2, RX-3, and RX-4; understeer, poor straight-line stability, and hard dive under braking. Although roll stiffness (resistance to leaning in a turn) is not actually increased, the amount of lean in a turn is reduced due to the decrease in understeer. Understeer is also a major cause of front tire wear. The kit consists of two spacers which reposition the front sway bar, moving it down to eliminate pro-dive, and forward to increase caster approximately one degree. The stock plastic or metal undertray is retained. Camber and toe in are unaffected by installation; no realignment is necessary.
