This Mazda Oil Filter Cartridge is intended for use on the Mazda 3 & 6 - 2.3L/2.5Lchassis. This is the genuine cartridge-style Mazda oil filter and is a direct replacement for the OE original unit.

Listed as Mazda part number L321-14-302, This filter element contains the filter, a replacement outer O-ring, and a smaller inner replacement O-ring for the drain plug. Replacement requires a 74mm x 14 flute oil cap wrench to remove the plastic filter housing cover.

Mazda 6 - 2003-2008 2.3L and Mazda 6 - 2009 2.5L (Mazda produced a limited number of 2009 US cars with this style filter. The production run began with a traditional screw-on type filter, then changed to the cartridge style, the changed back to the screw-on type.)
