Let's start with a set of Racing Beat's performance springs. Designed by Jim Mederer, Racing Beat's co-founder and chief engineer, to offer improved handling with a modest .6-inch (front) and a .5-inch (rear) drop in ride height, with a 20% spring rate increase. Perfect for street or autocross applications, these springs will interchange exactly with the stock springs.
Next, we add a set of Racing Beat precision sway bars. These sway bars are designed to reduce chassis-roll in turns and increase the Mazda 3's sensitivity to steering input, thereby improving maximum cornering power. Factory suspensions on front wheel drive cars will usually have a healthy dose of understeer or "push", which provides a comfortable safety zone for the driver that enters a corner a bit too fast. However, neutralizing this understeer with a balanced set of aftermarket sway bars will offer improved cornering speed and confidence, while still providing a margin of safety.
Improve the handling of your Mazda 3 with our Racing Beat 28.5mm (1.125") front sway bar. Each front sway bar is supplied with our heavy duty mounting clamps and replacement urethane bushings and Prothane bushing grease. The stock connecting links are retained to ease installation. The matched Racing Beat 27mm (1.0625") rear sway bar comes complete with all mounting hardware, clamps, bushings, grease, and instructions.
