We offer the genuine Mazda replacement sway bar bushing for the Protege MP3/MazdaSpeed (All models). Mazda part number: BN7H-28-156E - Priced and sold individualy - two required per sway bar.

These bushings are the current bushings that Mazda offers for use on the Protege MP3 and Protege MazdaSpeed models. We've received many calls and messages over the years regarding noise that is assumed to be related to the rear sway bar on these vehicles. While Mazda was nice enough to place the Racing Beat logo on each sway bar on these vehicles, although Racing Beat undertook the original research and design of the suspension components, Mazda used their own suppliers for the production of the components included on the vehicle - these are not Racing Beat produced sway bars or bushngs.

Mazda has addressed this issue by introducing a series of revised bushings over the years; it is our understanding that they've incorporated a stiffer/harder rubber compound in the manufacture of these bushings. (We have not confirmed this.) We've searched through our inventory of available urethane bushings for consideration as an alternative, but we do not have a comparably-sized bushing available.
