79-82 RX-7 12A - 215mm Disc

The Exedy Street Pressure Plate, intended for the 1979-82 RX-7 12A & 13B RX-7 chassis, is designed as a Mazda OE replacement for street applications. This RX-7 pressure plate interchanges exactly with the stock pressure plate, and can be used with the 215mm OD stock disc or any equivalent replacement aftermarket disc.

We strongly recommend replacing the throw-out bearing during any clutch work to ensure trouble free performance. Also, we recommend replacing the transmission front and rear seal kit when re-installing the transmission to reduce the possibility of leakage.

Safety Note: None of the Racing Beat, Exedy, Mazda OE, or any aftermarket flywheel or clutch replacement components should ever be allowed to exceed 10,500 RPM under any condition. You must use an engine RPM-limiter to prevent excessive RPM. If your engine is capable of exceeding 8,500 RPM you must install a transmission scatter shield or ballistic blanket. Failure to implement the above may result in serious injury or even death.
