The Racing Beat Universal Braided Stainless Oil Cooler Hose Kit is the perfect solution for any 1971-85 Mazda RX-7/rotary chassis, or any non-Mazda chassis, requiring a "non-standardized" Oil Cooler Hose Set. A common problem chassis builders/fabricators encounter is the need for an Oil Cooler Hose Set that will mate a Mazda Factory Rotary 1971-85 Oil Cooler into a chassis it was not originally intended for. Our Universal Oil Cooler Hose Kit allows you to fabricate the ideal hose lengths for your specific cooler/chassis application.

Installing a 1986-92 RX-7 Oil Cooler Into An Earlier Chassis

If your goal is to install a 1986-92 Mazda Factory Rotary Oil Cooler into your 1971-85 Mazda rotary chassis, or your non-Mazda chassis, we have two (2) options readily available: you can purchase, in addition to the Universal Kit, two (2) Racing Beat -10-to-18mm adapter fittings to fit the 1986-92 oil cooler. Or, when faced with clearance problems between the 1986-92 Mazda Rotary Cooler and your chassis (or you desire a "streamlined" look) we strongly recommend two (2) of Racing Beat's integrated 90-degree female-to-18mm male end adapter. These are the same fittings we incorporate on our standard 1986-92 Braided Stainless Oil Cooler Hose Set.

The addition of two (2) of the -10 to 18mm fittings (either option above) this kit will also allow you to use the Racing Beat Universal Braided Stainless Oil Cooler Hose Kit in non-standardized installations incorporating your choice of 1986-92 Mazda rotary oil coolers into the 1986-1992 RX-7 chassis.
