Proven to be one of our most popular RX-7 turbo performance replacement clutch discs, the Street Stage 1 Disc utilizes flattened marcel springs to reduce flexing, and two rivets per marcel to increase lining strength. The result is a disc that requires a bit more technique when starting, and releases quicker. This disc is suited for high output street engines and works with the stock pressure plate/flywheels or compatible performance (Stage 1) upgrade.

Time Saving Tip: We strongly recommend replacing the RX-7 throw-out bearing during any clutch work to ensure trouble free performance. Also, we recommend replacing the transmission front and rear seal kit when re-installing the transmission to reduce the possibility of leakage.

Safety Note: None of the Racing Beat, Exedy, Mazda OE, or any aftermarket flywheel or clutch replacement components should ever be allowed to exceed 10,500 RPM under any condition. You must use an engine RPM-limiter to prevent excessive RPM. If your engine is capable of exceeding 8,500 RPM we highly recommend the installation of a transmission scatter shield or ballistic blanket. Failure to implement the above may result in serious injury or even death.
