This photo was originally used on a "Mazda Dominates Daytona" poster that Mazda USA printed to commorate the on-track success during the 1980 IMSA 24-Hours of Daytona race. A total of 5 race titles were on the line during race week, with Mazda securing victories in the GTO, GTU, RS and ProFormance classes. The Racing Beat RX-7 shown finished 3rd overall in the 24 Hour Race and 1st in the GTO class!
